CPC - Cooperation with the Professional Community Committee

CPC focuses on:

  • Establishing better communication with professionals working with alcoholics
  • Finding simple, effective ways of cooperating without affiliating
  • Explaining clearly what A.A. is and is not & does and does not do

From the VAC Service Manual:

The purpose of the Cooperation of the Professional Committee shall be to provide, to those who have professional contact with alcoholics, information about what A.A is and is not, and what A.A. does and does not do. Attempts shall be made to establish good report and cooperation between the professional community and A.A,\. members at the Area, District, and Group levels.
