”AA For Alcoholics with Mental Health Issues, and Their Sponsors” — An Interactive Panel/Workshop on ZOOM

The pandemic has exacerbated the already-tough challenges facing alcoholics who are trying to get sober while also confronting co-occurring mental health issues. While ever-vigilant in our primary purpose to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety, AA nonetheless recognizes these mental health challenges. Our workshop will feature discussion by a psychiatrist and a psychologist who are familiar with these challenges, along with a sponsor and an alcoholic with co-occurring mental health issues. Our jumping off point is the recent pamphlet, AA conference-approved, titled, ”AA for Alcoholic with Mental Health Issues — and their sponsors.”
